The Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC) has completed its review of UI's proposal to install advanced meters. On March 19, 2008, the DPUC issued a Final Decision on UI's plan.
The DPUC approved UI's proposal to invest approximately $8.5 million in a Meter Data Management System and upgrades to UI's billing system to accomodate the phase-in of advanced meters. Follow these links for more information about the DPUC's ruling.
