The Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control (Department) has completed its review of UI's proposal to install advanced meters. On March 19, 2008, the Department issued a Final Decision on UI's plan.
The Department approved UI's proposal to invest approximately $8.5 million on a Meter Data Management System and upgrades to UI's billing system to accomodate the phase-in of advanced meters.
