  • Section 94 of Public Act 07-242, An Act Concerning Electricity and Energy Efficiency required the Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC) to establish guidelines for administration of the Connecticut Electric Efficiency Partners Program.

The Partners Program offers funding for the deployment of demand-side management technologies that conserve energy and reduce Connecticut's peak electric demand.  The DPUC can allocate up to $60 million annually to fund projects under this Program.

The guidelines and application process for the Partners Program were established under Docket No. 07-06-59.

The Department approves Electric Partners, the companies that implement the program, and Partner Technologies, energy efficient technologies that generally do not qualify for incentives under the programs funded by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund.
