The Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC) maintains a record of all supplier related complaints.
The Supplier Complaint Scorecard lists the number and type of complaints. (On the Scoreboard, click the blue triangle to expand each supplier's complaint log).
Types of complaints include billing and rate issues, cancellation fees, slamming, misrepresentation (e.g., supplier indicates they are affiliated with CL&P or UI) solicitation practices, etc.
Consumers should first contact their electric supplier to resolve complaints.
However, if the compaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you are encouraged to contact the DPUC at 800-382-4586 so we can log the complaint, assist in resolving the matter or initiate a formal investigation.
