Home Energy Solutions - The First Step to Lowering Your Energy Use
Whether you own or rent, you can reduce your energy bills, fast and easy, regardless of how you heat your home. The Home Energy Solutions (HES) program, supported by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, in partnership with Connecticut Light & Power, The United Illuminating Company and the natural gas utilities, is the first step to reducing your home’s energy bills.
A utility authorized contractor visits your home and makes on-the-spot improvements, including caulking and sealing of critical air leaks and provides exclusive money-saving rebates on appliances, heating and cooling systems and more. A modest fee is collected at the time of service.
However, income eligible customers may qualify for a free energy assessment.
