Want to save money on your energy bills? Not sure where to start? Home Performance with Energy Star® (HPwES), a program sponsored in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy and UI on behalf of the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund may be your answer.
All CL&P and UI customers can work with a qualified Home Performance with ENERGY STAR contractor to address high energy bills and increase their home’s comfort. The contractor will create a customized proposal for energy efficiency upgrades tailored to your specific needs. Many upgrades are eligible for incentives through the Energy Efficiency Fund as well as low-interest financing.
If you’ve already participated in our Home Energy Solutions core services, you are still eligible to participate in Home Performance with Energy Star to take your home’s performance to the next level.
