ENERGY STAR® Purchase Rebates
One of the most important decisions you can make as an energy-conscious homeowner is the type of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system you choose. Of course you want your home to be comfortable year-round; now comfort and cost can be balanced with the selection of an energy-efficient HVAC system for your home.
Through the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, there are special incentives for installing electric central air conditioning or electric heat pump systems that meet specific energy-efficiency ratings established by the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). A $250 rebate is available for installing certain ENERGY STAR® central air conditioning or heat pump systems The Rebate may be doubled to $500 for participants of the Home Energy Solutions program. Certain restrictions may apply.

Quality Installation and Verification (QIV) Rebates
The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund offers an addtional $100 - $500 incentive through its Quality Installation and Verification (QIV) program. QIV provides you with assurance that your new or existing central air conditioner, heat pump or furnance has been properly installed for best performance and reliability.
