The Quality Installation and Verification (QIV) program, supported by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund in partnership with Connecticut Light & Power, The United Illuminating Company and the natural gas utilities, is an innovative solution to reducing your home’s energy bill. QIV provides you with assurance that your new or existing central air conditioner, heat pump or furnace has been properly installed for best performance and reliability.
Through participation in the QIV program, an incentive of $500 is available for air conditioning/heat pump systems (per home) and $100 for natural gas warm air systems (per home). To be eligible for QIV, your heating and/or cooling systems must be high efficiency, and you must complete a Home Energy Solutions energy assessment.
