The Quality Installation and Verification (QIV) program, supported by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund in partnership with Connecticut Light & Power, The United Illuminating Company and the natural gas utilities, is an innovative solution to reducing your home’s energy bill. QIV provides you with assurance that your new or existing central air conditioner, heat pump or furnace has been properly installed for best performance and reliability.
Through participation in the QIV program, an incentive of $500 is available for ducted air conditioning and heat pumps and $100 for natural gas warm air systems for each system. To be eligible for QIV, your heating and/or cooling systems must be high efficiency, and a Home Energy Solutions energy assessment is recommended, not required.
